Students, professionals, corporate companies, Business organizations and other stakeholders passionate about business in Africa and the development of the continent will next month converge at Cambridge Judge Business School for the inaugural Cambridge Africa Business Network (CABN) tagged “Unlocking Value in Frontier Africa.”
The conference, which is scheduled to take place on 28 April 2012, will explore the identification of Sub-Saharan Africa as the world’s next frontier market, as well as the role of the private sector as a catalyst for economic growth in Africa.
The Vice President of the Republic of Zambia, His Honour, Dr Guy Scott, will be present as a keynote speaker, alongside Professor Mthuli Ncube, Chief Economist and Vice President of African Development Bank, and Wadzanai Madziva, Head of Business Development at Google Africa, to name a few.
“We are really pleased to be bringing such a fantastic line-up of speakers to Cambridge to discuss such a seminal topic. We are also exceptionally excited because the conference is just one part of our efforts to create meaningful and sustainable linkages between the academic and business communities here in Cambridge and equivalent communities across the continent. It is really part of a broader plan to promote excellence in business leadership and education.” Says Steve Hamm, one of the Network’s co-founders.
