The Future Cities, organized by Economist Conferences, kicked off yesterday at Eko Expo Centre, bringing together Mayors, Leaders and Stakeholders in both public and private sectors to explore new ways of tackling pressing issues of urbanisation.

The event is featuring leading authorities in urban planning, construction, transport, energy, architecture and sustainability, including the mayors of Lagos State, Johannesburg, Harare, Durban, Dar Es Salaam and Cape Town.
